I found this intriguing cup cum bowl this morning. Designed by Paris based Belgian designer Laurent Corio who says…
“Design is the link between a company, its structure and its market. When a company requires my reflection on one of its projects, I always focus on its particular market without having large concern about “my style”. My concern is to understand the cultural and social background from which an object comes.
Moreover, I seek to express my taste for decorative arts and my reflections about objects through personal realisations”.
…..which, of course, all sounds very “arty” but nevertheless I still think that the cup or bowl is a great idea and I can really see it appealing to a wide variety of people. Watch this space – I think I might see if Proleno can get hold of some!
