The Contas Soap Dish from Zack. A simple, yet stylish, soap dish with a lower receptacle to catch drips, drops and soapy residue. Easily dismantles for washing.

Finished in diamond polished (that’s shiny rather than brushed but not quite a mirror finish) 18/10 stainless steel it has an 11.0cms diameter and is 3.0cms high. It even comes in a top quality box so you could buy this for yourself but it would equally make a great, albeit practical, gift.

What a clever idea! How many times have you hunted for that coffee scoop that you know is in the cutlery drawer “somewhere”? It’s sorted. Zack has come up with a novel idea to attach the scoop to your coffee canister so that you know exactly where that scoop is, this time and every time.

A silicone band, complete with a scoop fixing, is placed around your coffee canister. In reality it may be a “posh” elastic band but they say that the simple ideas are always the best and this would seem to fall directly into that category.

The eagerly awaited Facile Electric Salt and Pepper Mills from Zack have now been released and are available from Proleno.

Launched at Frankfurt back in the autumn to much applause they will set the standard for high quality electric salt and pepper grinding during the 2010 season.

Of course, they have a hard act to follow as they replace the outstanding Zack Sicuro range which has recently been discontinued.

The new version has the same style, the same class and the same attention to detail as its predecessor and thankfully hasn’t fallen into that rather silly idea of lighting up when in use. Novel, yes, but very quickly boring and, frankly, if it’s that dark, turn the light on!

The Facile has a contemporary look and feel to it with a large flush button for ease of use as well as a simple, yet clever, little tray to sit in when not in use.
